The Dunedin Historical Society and Museum
Invites You
To Become A Part Of Our History
Historic Andrews Memorial Chapel was built by Dunedin’s Pioneer families in 1888 and rescued from demolition by the Dunedin Historical Society in 1970. The Chapel was moved to Hammock Park, restored to its former Victorian glory, and stands today as a testimony to the abiding faith and community spirit for generations of residents. The Museum currently operates Andrews Memorial Chapel, coordinating life events such as weddings, christenings, memorials, and funerals. The Chapel also is a venue for special events in the community.
In order to keep Andrews Memorial Chapel as a “touchstone” of the community, the Museum is providing opportunities for individuals to honor or remember a loved one or friend, or to dedicate a brick to mark your event at the chapel.
Pathway Bricks
Chapel Pathway bricks can be engraved and installed for a contribution of $100.00 each. NOTE: If wanting brick art, there is an additional fee of $25.00.
All net proceeds from the above opportunities will be designated to a special fund that will maintain, preserve, and enhance the beauty of Andrews Memorial Chapel for generations of Dunedin residents to enjoy. You, as the contributor, will receive a letter of appreciation for your tax files.
