The exhibit will be on display from September 6th 2024 through March 14th  2025. The Kellogg Mansion Immersive Experience uses advanced virtual reality to transport visitors back in time and explore the history of Dunedin’s Kellogg Mansion and its digital preservation efforts before demolition. Using advanced imaging and 3D technology, the Dunedin History Museum, in collaboration with local organizations, created a virtual replica of the mansion, allowing you to experience and remember its history through an immersive digital tour.

Not only will you enjoy the virtual reality tour aspect of this exhibit, but you’ll also have the opportunity to view and learn from physical artifacts from the Mansion, helping to gently preserve its memory. These artifacts belong to the Museum and are an addition to this experience.
